| Innu Mikun Awarded Long-Term Contract to Support Voisey’s Bay Mine and Concentrator Operations |

For Immediate Release Goose Bay, Labrador – Tom Randell, Managing Director, Innu Mikun Airlines, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a 10-year contract by Voisey’s Bay Nickel Company Limited (VBNC) for air transport services in support of VBNC’s operations at Voisey’s Bay, Labrador. Commenting on the contract award, Randell noted, “We are very pleased that this contract has been awarded to a Labrador-based aboriginal company. We look forward to continuing our efforts to assist VBNC in meeting its commitments for regional and aboriginal employment and procurement. On a go forward basis, Voisey Bay will be serviced by a dedicated Dash-8 aircraft and supplemented with a Twin Otter service from coastal points.” Innu Mikun Airlines is a joint venture between Innu Economic Development and Provincial Airlines. The airline was created to strengthen the regional transportation infrastructure of Labrador and to increase the participation of communities in Labrador in essential transportation services. Mr. Bart Jack, CEO Innu Development Limited Partnership noted, “This contract is the natural extension of the working 5 year relationship that Innu Mikun has had with VBNC. The relationship is one which is built on a foundation of trust. It is a positive step for our people.” Mr. Phil du Toit, Managing Director, VBNC added “VBNC and Innu Mikun have developed a solid partnership and we are very pleased that this contract will see our business relationship continue for the next 10 years of the production phase. Backgrounder Innu Mikun Airlines Innu Mikun Limited Partnership, which operates under the brand Innu Mikun Airlines, was founded in August 1998 by the Innu of Labrador and the principals of Provincial Airlines. The airline commenced operations with one (1) de Havilland DHC-6 series 300 Twin Otter aircraft and 7 employees. In the past 8 years the company has developed a successful Labrador based aviation business, grown steadily and made a strong contribution to enhancing the transportation infrastructure of Coastal Labrador. Today, Innu Mikun Airlines operates a fleet of three (3) de Havilland DHC-6 series 300 Twin Otter aircraft supported by a Labrador based staff of 58 employees. The company invested in the acquisition and expansion of facilities at Goose Bay Airport that provide 18,000 sq. ft. of space for aircraft hangarage and maintenance, passenger handling, air cargo handling and food-by-mail processing. Innu Mikun provides passenger and air cargo charter services and operates a daily scheduled regional service to Coastal Labrador communities.
